Quick Inventory

The last few months I've been spinning up on marketing. I've built a website from scratch, launched a Steampage for Starlab, created a mailing list, and got a few socials up and running.

Capturing video has been one time consuming portion of all this and by trying to cut down on lost effort I've added the "Director's Menu" press 'F3' to open this in game. Here you'll find controls to teleport around the worlds, control the weather, modify a few camera options and most importantly find the cheats. Turning on the 'Infinite Ammo' cheat is still needed to get the most out of creative mode.

I also took a swing at sanding away a few of the games rougher edges for new players. I've added a 'cycle inventory' ability allowing players to scroll through their hotbar items.

Then to smooth out the process of putting on jetpacks and space suits I've added a quick equip button 'V'. Pick up something you can equip to your character and press 'V' to instantly swap it in. For other items press 'V' to quick stash the item to your hotbar or store into your equipped backpack.
